Inaugural Give Where You Live Gala Celebrates CAP Agency’s Work with Low Income Families

Did you know $40 can feed someone for an entire month? At the Scott Carver Dakota Community Action Partnership (CAP) Food Shelf, $40 can go a long way. CAP serves nearly
12,000 households and 30,000 low-income and in-crisis individuals each year through more than 20 programs and services.  But we can’t do this alone.

CAP invites the community to the Give Where You Live Gala on November 15th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the Ames Performance Center in Burnsville to support and celebrate the work of CAP and its partners and volunteers. Tickets for the event are $30. All proceeds from the event will go to CAP programs and services.

“CAP Agency’s work is made possible by partnerships in our community. This event is a celebration of those partnerships as well as a way for people to come together and learn more about who we are and what we do for our shared community,” says Joe Vaughan, CAP Agency executive director.

The 2017 Give Where You Live Gala will be held on November 15th from 5:30-8:00pm at the Ames Center in Burnsville. The evening will include:
• Cocktail reception
• Banquet dinner
• Raffle and Wine Wall
• Stories from CAP clients
• Partner Awards
