Our community partner, Sanya’s Hope for Children, hosted Bowling for Hunger earlier this month.
Here is what they had to say about this great event and its impact in the community:
“Our Bowling For Hunger Event concluded today with Lord’s huge blessings. The gathering was small but blessings were huge. We not only achieved our goal of food collection and financial contributions but we exceeded. Lord did say that “Ask, and it shall be given“. He did give abundantly. We collected about 2000 lbs of food and about $1000 donation from various donors. Starbucks Savage/ Lakeville and SmallCakes- Savage was also a contributor among many others which I have mentioned in my previous post. Thank you so much, Joe Vaughan, Community Action Partnership Agency CEO, for your generosity of time and relentless help. Thank you, everyone, who came to support and thanks to all our donors. I will end with Sanya’s favorite quote from Mother Teresa “At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.””
Thank you to Sanya’s Hope for Children for all you do!
