Neighborhood Ace Hardware Raised over $800 for Community Organization
The Arrow Ace Hardware location in Shakopee has put their “helpful place” motto to action by supporting the CAP Agency Food Shelf. Customers were given the opportunity to round up their transaction to the nearest dollar or give more if they like to the local charity. The neighborhood store participated in the Round Up event in the month of December through Christmas Eve. A total of $844.57 was raised.
“In addition to being a trusted home maintenance resource for the Shakopee area, we are committed to offering a more personal kind of helpful inside and outside our store walls,” said Dave Neiman, Majority Owner of Arrow Ace Hardware. “The CAP Agency is an important organization in our area, and we’re happy that we can do our part in helping those in need this time of year.”
“The amount donated will allow us to provide 1 week of groceries for 120 families. We serve 800 families per month, so this is extremely helpful for us to continue meeting the needs in our community”, said Jackie Lara, Director of Food and Nutrition at Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency, Inc.
