On November 19th, Amazon associates hand delivered 1,000 ready-made meal packs to CAP Agency, to provide to individuals and families in Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties who are facing hunger amidst the pandemic. CAP Agency is the safety net individuals and families rely on to address food insecurity. Strong partnerships with companies like Amazon help CAP to expand our reach and strengthen our ability to serve neighbors facing crises.
From providing PPE to educators to donating meals to families in the tri-county area, Amazon has been a great partner to CAP throughout this pandemic. Chad Fifield, Site Leader and General Manager at Amazon in Shakopee, recently shared, “Amazon leverages its scale for good to support communities. We are committed to support the right now needs in the communities where we operate, and that means helping organizations like CAP continue the great work they’re doing for individuals and families to keep them fed and safe this year.” Amazon’s commitment to support right now needs mirrors CAP’s drive to assist community members during challenging times. Together, Amazon and CAP are making the biggest impact possible.
CAP and Amazon’s partnership has grown as we combine our knowledge, skills, and expertise to assist individuals and families in the tri-county area. CAP is proud to partner with Amazon!
