Extended Day ESL for Kindergarten

This program will assist non-English speaking kindergarten students in increasing academic achievement and demonstrate first grade readiness. Parents will be provided with the necessary information to support the academic achievement of their child.

Cultural Liaison

This position will facilitate the seamless enrollment of new English Language Learners to the Shakopee School District as well as support the academic achievement of those already enrolled. Individual family needs will be assessed and access to educational, health and human services will be coordinated. A communication link between parents, staff and students will be developed.
