The CAP Agency has four Community Outreach
Coordinators serving Scott County residents. Their primary
goals are to reduce out-of-home placements, reduce the health/medical
risks of children, and help families learn stress management
skills, thereby reducing the frequency of crises within
the families served. Programs utilized by the Outreach Coordinators
include Child Care Resource & Referral, Crisis Nursery,
Emergency Services, Energy Assistance, Food Shelf, Getting
There vehicle ownership, Head Start, Housing Services, Senior
Dining, Thrift Shop, Weatherization and WIC.
