April-June Reporting

Terry and Linda are working on modifying the Public Health Care Plan to meet wraparound criteria.

So far the collaborative has tracked 194 multi-agency plans for the 03-04 contract year.  The group agreed that the quarterly tracking method that was started last year is working well.  Wanda asked that Advisors contact her if they have any suggestions to make the process work more efficiently.

The list of reported plans will be distributed to the Steering Committee on Monday.

Oct-Dec LCTS Participant List

The deadline is TODAY for any changes that need to be made to those involved in the random moments.  These changes will be effective for the Oct-Dec quarter.  Participants can be deleted during the quarter but additions must be made at least three weeks prior to the beginning of the quarter.

Workgroups

Training

The next training for new Resource Coordinators is scheduled for 9-4, September 23.  The morning section of the training includes SFN history, background and collaborative activities.  It would be appropriate for new supervisory staff to attend this portion.  The afternoon will include the ‘nuts and bolts’ of wraparound and how to make it work within different settings.

Training notes:

Interagency Coordination

This work group will resume meetings soon and begin plans for the countywide intake meeting tentatively set for November.

Informal Resources

The work group has not met since the last Advisor meeting.  Their plan is to present the List Serv idea to the Steering Committee on Monday and proceed with implementation based on their feedback.

Funding

Wanda briefly went over some possible changes in the formula the state uses to calculate the amount of LCTS funds the collaborative is able to generate.  The change will inevitably result in a decrease in revenue for counties state wide.

Grant research and writing has been added to Wanda’s position.  She has found that it is difficult to know the gaps and needs of each of the collaborative partners.  A Project/Program Ideas form has been created so that partners can easily pass on this information to help Wanda focus her search.  This form will be emailed to Advisors and put on the website.
