Vehicles accepted for donation:
The CAP Agency accepts 100% tax-deductible donations of cars, trucks, vans, RVs, boats and snowmobiles in support of its vehicle donation program.


How to donate your vehicle in four easy steps:

1.) Contact us to make arrangements.

2.) Give us your vehicle and title.

  • If you don’t have your title handy, contact your local license bureau or the Department of Motor Vehicles to request a duplicate title.
  • If a lender is listed on your title, you will also need a lien release.

3.) Ownership of your vehicle is transferred to the CAP Agency.

4.) You receive a copy of the CAP Agency Donation Receipt.

  • On the donation receipt the CAP Agency completes the date of the donation and the year, make and model of the vehicle.
  • As the donor, you are asked to list a donation value for the vehicle and to sign and date the receipt.
  • You may locate fair market value information for your used vehicle at the following web sites: Kelly Blue Book, and N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide.
