Description
Senior Dining offers nutritious, hot mid-day meals at 20 congregate dining sites throughout Scott, Carver and Dakota Counties. Health information, social service referrals, nutrition education, volunteer opportunities, occasional celebrations and companionship with other participants are also provided.

Meals on Wheels offers weekday home delivery of nutritious, hot, mid-day meals on a short-term or long-term basis through nine CAP Agency Senior Dining sites to elderly in sixteen communities.

Participation
Adults who are age 60 and older are invited to attend Senior Dining and adults who are homebound may receive Meals on Wheels. Senior Nutrition participation is not based on income.

Menu
A sample daily menu includes: Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Capri Blend Veggies, Dinner Roll, Frosted Cake and 1% Milk. Sodium reduced, modified mechanical soft (main entrée is minced) and low-calorie desserts are available upon request.

Cost
A donation of $3.50 per meal is suggested.

Meal Reservations
A two-day advance meal reservation is required. To make a meal reservation, please either stop in or call the site any weekday morning.
