The Child Guidance Specialist is responsible for the Mental Health component services for CAP Agency Head Start including coordinating with Education, Outreach and Disabilities staff; working with other agencies providing mental health services to children and advocating for low-income families.

The paraprofessional assists the Head Start teacher with all classroom activities, prepares and serves snacks and lunches, cooperates with the teacher, assistant teacher and other Head Start staff in providing the best possible program. WIC
Nutrition Educator, Chaska
The Nutrition Educator determines WIC client eligibility, provides appropriate nutrition education, completes diet and medical histories, and interprets medical data collected at WIC clinics and issues vouchers. The educator also provides nutrition education and nutrition counseling for Senior Nutrition and Head Start Participants in Scott, Carver and Dakota counties. Using a team approach, each nutrition educator will be crossed trained in several areas and assigned as lead in some of those areas.
