WIC

Nutrition Educator, Chaska
The Nutrition Educator determines WIC client eligibility, provides appropriate nutrition education, completes diet and medical histories, and interprets medical data collected at WIC clinics and issues vouchers. The educator also provides nutrition education and nutrition counseling for Senior Nutrition and Head Start Participants in Scott, Carver and Dakota counties. Using a team approach, each nutrition educator will be crossed trained in several areas and assigned as lead in some of those areas.
