Description
CAP Agency Hope for the Holidays is an annual “adopt-a-family” holiday gift sponsorship project.

Participation
Hope for the Holidays is available to families living in Scott and Carver Counties who are unable to provide holiday gifts for their family. Parents interested in having their children sponsored through Hope for the Holidays must register at the CAP Agency. Enrollment forms are available at the Customer Service desk in Shakopee. No appointments are necessary however families must register in person at the CAP Agency office in the county of their residence (Scott and Carver only).

Hope for the Holidays Sponsorship
Holiday sponsors often include individuals, families, neighbors, civic groups, churches, schools and businesses. Sponsors are asked to indicate the number of children they wish to sponsor based on a suggested contribution of $50 per sponsored individual. Once signed up, sponsors receive the first name, age, gender and a wish list of two gift ideas for each child in the family. More information.

To be a sponsor, print, complete and mail this form or call the CAP Agency Hope for the Holidays hotline, beginning October 1, 2009, at 952-402-9871 to request a form.

Toy Drive Drop Off
Schools, businesses, and organizations wishing to hold toy drives may deliver their toys Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 p.m. between Dec 1, 2009 and December 22, 2009 to either the Shakopee or Chaska office:

Volunteers
Volunteers are needed during the Gift Drop off/Pick up to help accept, sort and distribute gift packages. Interested persons are asked to call the Hope for the Holidays hotline at 952-402-9871.
