Description
CAP Agency Food Shelf, located in Shakopee, provides a nutritionally balanced, five-day supply of food to individuals or families in need. The amount of food distributed per request is based on the number of members in the household.

Participation

Monetary Donations
Food Shelf donations of money are welcome. In fact, monetary donations go farther than food donations, as the CAP Agency is often able to purchase many food shelf items in bulk quantities. Click here for more information about making a financial contribution to the Food Shelf.

Volunteers
Food Shelf volunteers help clients with food selections, weigh and sort food donations, help stock shelves and pick up bread and pastry items from local grocery stores.
